We are a progressive aged care organisation seeking dedicated and caring person for a full time position of Admin & Rostering Officer (Clerk Grade 5).

Role has responsibility for administration, scheduling, reception functions and rostering of up to 40 care staff who are providing in home care.

Essential Criteria:

  • High level computer skills.
  • Experience using client management system/data base.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of the Fair Work Act and be able to interpret the current agreement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise time and organise work schedules.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • An awareness of, and sensitivity to, the needs of older people.
  • Ability to build a rapport with people from diverse backgrounds and age groups.
  • Awareness of WHS and manual handling procedures.
  • Personal commitment to own professional learning and development.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of rostering software system TCM or similar.
  • Experience working within Aged Care.
  • Experience with rostering.
  • Knowledge and/or awareness of relevant legislation, regulations, standards and guidelines relating to Aged Care.
  • Current NSW driving licence.
