Specular is a niche technology solution provider selling and hiring some of the best high end photography and imaging gear available. To make sure our clients have a great experience we are looking for someone to manage and conduct the day-to-day sale administration tasks in our Collingwood showroom/office.

If you like variety in your work, working with interesting creative technology and creative people, this might be the role for you. This is a full-time position.

What you would be doing:

You will be the central point of control for all inventory management through the business and be across sales and purchasing, repairs and customer support cases, managing both domestic and international shipping. Our sales team and customers will rely on you for timely updates on the status of orders. You will also be :

  • Carrying our various administration functions to ensure our our sales environment runs smoothly
  • Working closely with the team to support them with day-to-day administration tasks
  • Stepping in to greet customers in our showroom when required
  • Helping with in-bound calls
  • Ensuring that processing of sales and purchasing transactions is correct and timely
  • Learn the basics of our product range to comfortably interact with our customers
  • Creating and implementing processes to streamline existing systems
  • Liaising with our Alexandria NSW branch to ensure the correct processes are implemented

Highly desirable skills:

  • Experience with a finance/accounting/inventory software package
  • Experience with stock management
  • Enjoy a diverse range of tasks in the one role
  • Ability to use your communication skills to keep the team on track
  • Be organised and methodical but also adaptable
  • Be enthusiastic, friendly, professional and well presented

An interest in photography, imaging and Apple computers would be an advantage.
