Seeking a workplace where professional development is encouraged? You will work in a supportive team where you will be providing intensive case management support to clients who are under the supervision of the Drug Court and subject to a Drug Treatment Order and who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. As many will be experiencing crisis, you will need empathy for our clients and an ability to relate effectively and sensitively to people from diverse backgrounds.

For this specialist program Case Worker position you will require;
- Case management knowledge and experience
- A passion for working with clients who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
- Have a demonstrated track record in working effectively in a multi discipline team.
- Knowledge and experience in supporting clients with drug dependency issues.
- Experience in working with clients in an outreach capacity.
In this role you will be working in a multidisciplinary team, to provide information, advocacy, referral and case management support to participants of the Dandenong Drug Court who are homeless and/or at risk of homelessness. Liaising with the Dandenong Drug Court Team, you will assist participants in obtaining the skills and abilities necessary to move towards and maintain independent accommodation.
The Program: The key principle of the Homelessness Assistance Program of the Drug Court is to provide support and assistance to clients referred to Wayss directly and solely by the Drug Court Team to access suitable accommodation.
