In this role you will be working within the Disability Employment Services Contract to support individuals with various barriers sustain their employment.
About the Role
Based in St Albans as a Post Placement Support Consultant you will utilise your advanced interpersonal skills to provide effective supports and interventions to individuals who have recently been placed into employment. Taking into account the skills and abilities of the worker and the needs of the employer you will assess and address the workplace support needs of the individual. Working closely with your colleagues you will share a common goal of ensuring candidates are successful in sustaining ongoing employment.
- Supporting clients in the workplace to maintain ongoing employment through effective post-placement support (PPS), focussing on those clients in ongoing support, with an intent to transition them to independent workers
- Continually surveying the local job market in order to identify suitable and alternative employment opportunities
- Achieving job placements and sustainable employment outcomes for a caseload of jobseekers
- Involvement in Supported Wage and Ongoing Support Assessments

- Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals from varying backgrounds
- Ability to manage time and workloads effectively to business priorities in a challenging environment
- Demonstrated high level professionalism, compliance and attention to detail
