Our client is seeking an experienced Company Site Representative to support the development and preparation works of all commissioning vessel procedures, work packs and planning.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and supervising the execution of commissioning activities of the work taking place on the offshore facilities
About the role:
- Focal point for contractors as the offshore representative.
- Responsible for compliance and quality assurance activities and risk assessments to ensure that all activities are conducted safely in accordance with all safety standards, codes, guidelines and specification.
- Supervise all vessel subsea commissioning activities and provide point of contact for the commissioning team.
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with the contract technical requirements and approved work procedures, being fully conversant with project documentation, and procedures.
- Plan and monitor the progress of commissioning activities and defined scope of work and escalate issues when necessary.
Requirements and qualifications for the role:
- Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or 10+ years subsea knowledge and relevant working experience in general offshore subsea intervention, maintenance activities and managing contractors within the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Familiar with installation/ recovery/ inspection & maintenance of subsea structures and systems.
- Previous experience in monitoring and enforcing Quality and HSES obligations.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Experience with managing an offshore teams of 3-4 personnel.
