We have an immediate requirement for a Marketing Executive to work on a 12month fixed-term contract for Lendlease’s Urban Regeneration business.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will focus on the creative execution of marketing initiatives for Barangaroo and Darling Square precincts.
Barangaroo enhances Sydney's position as a global city by delivering a new financial district, the most sustainable buildings designed by the world's best and a new waterfront dining destination for Sydneysiders and visitors to enjoy.
Darling Square is an inner-city neighbourhood made up of small laneways and narrow streets connecting communal open spaces, bars, restaurants, cafés, student accommodation, apartments and offices. Edgy bars, eateries and offbeat boutiques, inspired by some of Sydney’s favourite destinations, set the creative vibe in this inner-city community.
As the Marketing Executive, you will contribute your creative written and visual content curation skills to support storytelling and editorial via traditional and social channels. You will be an integral part of both precincts’ social media community and website management, implementing organic paid growth initiatives and tracking of results.
You will execute ongoing publications, collateral, events, activations, and assist with PR and advertising for retail and place launches. You will also support various administrative responsibilities.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will assist in tactical marketing implementation including precinct wide branding, digital and social campaigns, content management, place activation, stakeholder and community engagement through on and offline platforms.
The role will aim to drive awareness and visitation to the precinct while reinforcing Barangaroo South and Darling Square as must-visit destinations in Sydney. Target audiences will include local office workers and residents, Sydneysiders, as well as domestic and international tourists.
You will need competency in a Marketing, Digital or Community Management related role, preferably in the property or destination marketing sector; assisting in executing advertising and campaigns and managing detailed projects on tight timelines and budgets.
You’ll have a strong commercial orientation with understanding of business operations and a strategic planning allowing for the ability to see the big picture. Experience in running large scale festivals is desirable in this role.
This position will be split 50/50 between Barangaroo and Darling Square project office in Haymarket.
