The Company
Our client is a brand-new company recently launched in Australia to provide a simple, efficient and reliable eSettlements solution. A collaboration between one of Australia's leading provider of e-Settlement technology and services and the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), our client will offer lawyers, conveyancers and financial institutions a streamlined and comprehensive technology solution that will seamlessly integrate with existing practices and systems.

Objective
To deliver quality events that position the company in a positive, high-profile way in the Australian Market. Build awareness and generate sales leads through end-to-end campaign management around events (either company led or third party).

The Role
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will be responsible for planning and executing integrated programs and events with a strong focus on major industry conferences, roadshows, seminars, roundtables and webinars. You will be responsible for event planning and execution and work in partnership with the broader marketing team to drive new business opportunities into the sales pipeline. You will oversee logistics both internal and external, build relationships with key stakeholders and ensure an exceptional attendee experience for all programs. You will liaise closely with venues and other key suppliers to ensure all marketing activities are on message and executed within budget and agreed timeframes. Working across sales, products, development and management, you will engage positively and professionally to determine business needs and drive towards common goals and targets.

The Responsibilities
  • Liaise with internal teams and external 3rd parties to plan programs
  • Develop project plans for various internal and external events
  • Creative Services - managing suppliers for copywriting, design and production
  • Target account marketing - to key clients and prospects on the named account list
  • Lead planning and tracking of results for each program
  • Develop and manage cross-functional resources to align with project plan
  • Handle vendor RFI, budgeting, site selection and contract negotiations
  • Manage registration, attendee tracking/communication, hotel management, transportation, activities, food and beverage planning, resources allocation and event schedules
  • Evaluate programs and provide post-event analysis and follow-up plan
  • Develop and execute integrated pre and post event communications plan leveraging SF.com Pardot Marketing Automation system
  • Customer Referencing - developing key assets such as videos and case studies
  • Onsite video production and social media event posts
The Ideal Person
A detail-oriented planner with exceptional time and project management skills. You will be flexible, adaptable and agile in your approach. You will have the ability to think strategically and creatively to handle last minute changes or challenges that arise. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate an ability to multitask. You are positive, a strong communicator and results oriented.

Experience 
  • Significant B2B marketing & event management experience (5-7+ years), including working with partners and customers
  • Experience working within the software or technology space
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate budgets and effectively manage expenses
  • Ability to anticipate, communicate and resolve issues with minimal guidance
  • Excellent attention to detail and deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate value added sponsorships and secure good rates with venues and third parties
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively, take direction and input to develop effective and engaging programs that will achieve the organisation's goals
  • Experience managing multiple, complex programs in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Integrated campaign management experience including all aspects of the marketing mix
  • Social media, EDM's, print production knowledge
  • Marketing Automation and CRM experience in planning end to end campaigns and close loop lead capture programs (Salesforce and Pardot advantageous)
  • Experience in delivering results to business eg: leads, opportunities and pipeline
