This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst to join a growing marketing team and help to implement robust and meaningful analytics for Marketing across Australia and New Zealand.


In this role you will perform complex data analysis and financial modeling to support direct marketing campaigns based on analyzing data and creating models to increase efficiencies of campaigns.

You will work closely with product management, vertical marketing and digital teams to capture measurement of marketing programs that enable actionable decisions across online and offline channels.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing dashboards that capture agreed measures and key performance indicators utilizing Power BI as the main business intelligence and dashboard tool.
  • Report on key metrics, analysing and interpreting trends and providing actionable insights based on available analytics data.
  • Extract and compile metrics from various sources and systems.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts as to the relevant sources of information and make recommendations on data collection, integration and retention requirements.
  • Recommend new and improved methods to improve data and search quality.
  • Develop marketing analytics that drive marketing decisions.
  • Develop real time reporting processes and measures for communicating status/performance of campaigns, programs, projects and tactics.
  • Advise and assist in target setting for campaigns, programs, projects and tactics.
  • In coordination with marketing managers, identify campaign objectives and advise on suitable measurement strategies.
  • Benchmark performance across all offline and online channels and advise on KPI performance.
  • Utilize methodical performance analysis to influence/support campaign strategies.
  • Provide market ready marketing arguments and analysis to aid in the delivery of the marketing campaigns across platform strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to yearly strategic planning and ongoing campaign tactical decisions.
  • Perform ROI analysis to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of different marketing campaigns alongside sales team performance for these key marketing campaigns.
  • Manage analytics for key projects, including working with Vertical and Product Marketing, Events and Digital teams to manage scope, expectations and deliverables.
  • Drive the business understanding of digital platform performance and proactively provide insights and analysis for use in driving marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with Local, Regional and Global Marketing alongside local Digital, and Finance to develop reports on overall performance.
  • Analyse the effect of different online and offline channels on each other and develop and support the development of innovative strategies for improvement and growth.
  • Report on and analyse online user behavior, conversion data, customer journeys, purchasing funnel and multi-channel attribution.
  • Take complex data issues, methodologies and analysis results and present them to business partners in a manner that is relevant, meaningful, actionable, and understandable.
  • Provide thought leadership to the Marketing group including identifying and incorporating best practices in methodology, process and communication to raise impact of analysis provided.


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance or Business Management or other highly quantitative field such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics.
  • 3 years of professional experience in a data analysis role.
  • Experience in Salesforce and Power BI.

Skills and Attributes

  • Experience working in a marketing / business intelligence environment.
  • Experience in data analysis to deliver actionable insights.
  • Extensive experience in data analysis techniques and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong proficiency with PowerPoint and Power BI for producing reports, dashboards and presentations.
  • Some experience working with analytical software e.g. Google Analytics.
