About the Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, we are looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Fitter to assist in maintaining our Big N depot to farm fleet, including various plant and mobile equipment at our Wee Waa Depot.
To be successful in this role you will be required to plan and execute maintenance tasks, ensuring that all objectives are achieved in a safe and efficient manner.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience maintaining tanker trailer running gear, including brakes and bearings.
- You have hands on experience in fault finding, appropriate mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Ideally you will have experience working with pumps.
- You have a heavy vehicle mechanical trade certificate and are eligible to obtain a Bulk Dangerous Goods Driver Licence.
- Any welding experience and/or welding tickets would be held in high regard.
- It will be advantageous if you had experience working in confined spaces and working in and around pressure vessel equipment.
- Regularly you will be working on computers to record maintenance task. You must be comfortable with this type of work.
