Beginner climbers and experienced climbers can apply. Work 5 days a week is available. 3 - 4 days a week is also available. Employment is casual basis, due to weather occasionally interrupting works.
Position requires you to take the role of the tree climber, working with an experienced ground crew for a tree removal and tree pruning business. The work requires you to prune or remove trees, using ropes, harness, climbing spikes if task specific, rigging and chainsaws.
You must have a chainsaw certificate, know how to use a chainsaw well and you must be attending or have completed arboriculture 3. The nature of the work is mostly small to medium tree removals. We already have one experienced tree climber in the crew, we currently require a second climber and are willing to train and up skill you, depending on your level. You must be young and fit for this job, It's very physically demanding.
