ID Automotive Repairs in Port Kennedy are an authorised 'Bosch Car Service' workshop. Having been established in Port Kennedy now for over Ten years we have gained a reputation for great customer service and quality workmanship. We are also a 'Government Approved Inspection Station' and MTA approved repairer.

A position now exists for a highly qualified individual who possesses exceptional diagnostic ability in modern car technology. You must be able to prove your skills via a strict written and practical test and be competent in all vehicle systems including CAN-BUS technology, ABS/ESP, Airbags, Instrument Clusters, HVAC, Immobiliser and Key Programming, Central Locking, Electric Windows, and all other systems associated with today's modern vehicles.

Other advantages would be extended experience in air conditioning service and repair including a current ARC Authorisation. The ability to recognise and diagnose faults in the mechanical and electrical control side of the modern air conditioning system. 

You must be a qualified mechanic with a minimum of 3 years experience after trade qualification and be able to competently test electrical circuits and produce diagnostic results to a high standard. Your mechanical skills must also be of the highest level and this will be reflected in your collection of tools and how they are presented are a testament to your standards.

Your attention to detail and ability to finish must be of the highest. You must be able to work tidily, efficiently and keep your work area to the utmost in cleanliness. You must possess excellent social and communication skills as you will have to speak directly with customers to quiz them if required, for aid with diagnosis of the required rectification work to be carried out.

You must hold a current drivers licence, the correct trade recognised qualifications and will be asked to produce evidence of this. A current licensed repairers certificate will also be required.

Internal and external training will also be a part of your long-term position with our business with the potential to become a Bosch master technician. This will ensure that you keep up with the ever-changing technology within the motor industry. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm, so you still get to enjoy the fabulous lifestyle we have in WA.
