This 1 year fixed term opportunity provides an exciting opportunity to join an established team of Practice Learning Support Tutors and to be involved in the further development of this role within the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing. The focus of this full time post is on supporting pre-registration health care students to prepare for and learn how to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care in all types of practice settings.
The role will enable the post holder to focus on enabling students to develop insights into the reality of the current context of care delivery, provide specific support during students’ early placement experiences, and enable students to reflect and learn from their experiences.
If you are a registered health care professional with current NMC or HCPC membership with recent, relevant experience and have the required qualifications/experience related to teaching and assessing in practice settings, this role is ideal for you. With experience of clinical competence in professional practice and of teaching with an interactive approach, you will be educated to first degree level in a relevant subject and evidence of recent clinical assessment experience.
