IT Project Manager
Full Time Post: 36.25 hours per week

You’re an enterprising and experienced IT Project Manager who wants to work within a small like-minded team. We are on an evolving journey driving the first phase of our extensive digital transformation programme. We’re delivering both a large digital and Infrastructure projects, using leading technologies to create a more digitally connected University user experience, putting our students at the heart of everything we do.
The role
We are seeking an experienced IT project manager to manage a varied portfolio of projects led by IT Services. Based in the Business Change and Project Delivery Team, the project manager will work with senior managers, technical staff, academics, researchers and a wide variety of stakeholders to deliver key projects in support of research, teaching and learning at the University.

As an IT Project Manager you will have the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, analysing business requirements and delivery them through an extensive portfolio of projects.
The Person
You will bring to the role extensive, relevant knowledge and experience of project management standard and best practice including the following experience:
- Demonstrable experience of managing full project lifecycle from inception through to implementation and delivery including project planning (resource and budget management).
- Demonstrable experience of business and process analysis and translating requirements into a project.
- Demonstrable experience of influencing others, understanding their needs and clearly analysing requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management at all levels with internal and external partners with a track record of developing relationships across organisation boundaries, including influencing stakeholders at a senior level.
Communication
- You will be a self-motivated and dynamic individual who is able to challenge and influence others, develop and maintain collaborative working relations across IT and non-IT departments;
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with staff at all levels.
