We are looking for a Science Education Technician to join the School of Education. The person appointed will provide technical support to academic staff and undergraduate/postgraduate students for classroom based learning in Science Education covering both secondary and primary provision. S/he will join a team which includes a Resources Assistant for primary provision, under the overall direction of the Technical Manager.

To apply for the position you should have relevant qualifications in a science subject, or professional technician registration, or substantial equivalent experience may be considered. A good working knowledge of school science, and awareness of health and safety issues and practices in a classroom/laboratory is expected. You will also have excellent organisational skills and an ability to communicate and work effectively with colleagues and students.
