Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research fellowship, working on an exciting new autonomous vehicle project with a major OEM. This project is funded by Innovate UK. The project is worth £14 million and involves six industrial partners, two universities and one government-sponsored organisation.
The project will involve the development of trials analytics software for our new Multi-User Environment for Autonomous Vehicle Innovation (MUEAVI) and novel formal validation techniques combining risk perception models, formal validation and trials data. You will be expected to contribute to the design, development and demonstration of these, and to work closely with our industrial and research partners. You will also be expected to help mentor PhD and MSc students working in the group.
You must hold a PhD in a relevant engineering discipline or be close to completion and have prior experience of control or formal model validation.
