An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, innovative healthcare educator to join our team of dedicated academics to support the delivery of courses in nursing and healthcare at UG and PG level. In particular we are interested in applicants with a minimum of Masters qualification with a strong interest in one or more the following areas;

  • Adult Nursing
  • Leadership
  • Biosciences
  • Primary and Community Care

Our academic team, together with the support of administrative and technical staff, deliver education programmes to students across our London and Reading campuses. To maintain the high quality of education associated with the college, you will be expected to develop and deliver learning and teaching material that is relevant, evidence-based and current.

This position will also require the individual to effectively liaise, develop and maintain outstanding partnerships with healthcare providers in Berkshire, Surrey, North Hampshire and West London.

As a senior lecturer successful candidates will have strong knowledge and skills in a specialist area of either adult nursing and/or healthcare. With a knowledge of pedagogical learning approaches, candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively and consistently work collaboratively with students, other academics, clinical practitioners, and with our support and technical staff. In addition they will have a robust appreciation of the challenges facing contemporary nurse education.
