Based in the Research Support team office on University Park, they will lead on, and be accountable for, the development of strategy and the delivery of specialist library services in support of research within the faculty. The post holder will be responsible for engaging with the faculty at a strategic level, understanding their specific needs and devising support mechanisms that are appropriate. They will also be responsible for managing relationships with senior academics within the faculty, gathering information and analysing requirements as needed, through a variety of formal and informal mechanisms.

In addition, the post holder will have experience of systematic literature searching and be able to support researchers and students by providing guidance and training as required.  The post holder will also contribute to the wider department through membership of the LRLR Leadership Group and involvement in projects.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent relationship management and influencing skills, who has an in depth understanding of the priorities and challenges facing both researchers and the University today.
