The UEA Careers Service is seeking to recruit a Marketing and Events Officer. You will have responsibility for working with stakeholders to develop and deliver an innovative marketing and events strategy relevant to the student body and designed to meet the Careers Service objectives. We currently run between 400 – 500 events encompassing small light touch workshops through to large scale Fairs. You will have an excellent understanding of the planning, execution and feedback process involved in both successful event management and professional marketing. You will also have demonstrable experience of successfully managing stakeholder relationships along with recent experience of managing a team.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have significant events management and marketing experience. You will be focused, creative, resourceful and efficient. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines in addition to being able to satisfy all essential criteria detailed in the person specification for this post.
The post is available from 23 October 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter on a full-time indefinite basis.
The University is a Bronze Athena Swan Award holder, currently working towards Silver.
