The salary will be paid at Grade 5, £27,629 to £31,076 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.
This post will be Fixed Term Contract until the 31 August 2022
The Cell Culture Technician will be responsible for Cell Culture in experiments funded through the UK Dementia Research Institute Centre. The Post holder will be responsible for generating and characterising stem cells and primary neurons that model neurodegenerative disorders under the supervision of the Centre Director. The post holder will be educated to degree level and will have extensive experience of cell culture immunohistochemistry and laboratory management. You will be someone who takes pride in providing a high standard of biological research to support the UKDRI Programme Leaders and their researchers.
The selection process will include competency based questions and a panel interview.
