Applications are invited for the post of Mental Health Advisor in Disability and Dyslexia Services.
The post constitutes an exciting opportunity to work as part of Disability and Dyslexia Services contributing to student retention and attainment through the delivery of a range of professional services that support students’ emotional and psychological wellbeing, enabling successful engagement with study, promoting resilience and the acquisition of key employability skills.
You will have a professional and positive attitude with direct experience of supporting adults with varied mental health conditions. You should have knowledge of equality legislation and an understanding of supporting disabled students with a range of impairments in a Higher Education setting. You will be expected to manage a caseload of students with mental health conditions. The post holder will be responsible for providing specialist advice, guidance and information to students and staff.
