A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Residence Welfare Officer to join the Study Group organisation, working from our brand new International Study centre.  The right candidate should have proven skills in relationship building as well as strong emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours. You must be empathetic, sympathetic, calm, caring, and patient, as well as have an obvious passion for the welfare of students.

Role Description:

The right candidate will be responsible for providing support to students living in the over 18 residences of Central Halls and Ernest Place.  This will involve liaising closely with relevant staff in the study centre and the University to ensure prompt sharing of information to ensure and enhance the safety, care and well-being of the students.

This will be a full time position, requiring the Welfare Officer to travel between Queen’s Campus, Central Halls and Ernest Place.  Evening work will be required and occasional weekend work, to meet operational requirements, such as during Induction Week, or to deal with emergencies.
