We have initiated major innovations across all areas supported by our new vision and strategy. We are aiming to become a top 20 UK Business School within five years.

In order to achieve this we are investing in our professional services administration staff, building a team that will support the growth of the School, whilst providing an excellent experience for our students. Therefore the University of Leicester, School of Business is looking to recruit an Employability Co-ordinator on a part-time basis for 17.5 hours. The Employability Officer plays a key role in supporting the School’s Business Careers Team and will provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Career Development Manager.

Main responsibilities in this role will include supporting the development, organisation and embedding of employability learning opportunities in the curriculum and co-curriculum. The post holder will be expected to plan, organise and deliver employability activities, developing and maintaining team processes, databases and spreadsheets, general administrative support and acting as first point of contact on behalf of the team.

You will have good IT skills, particularly in MS Office and administrative experience within a busy environment. Excellent customer service experience, oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to deal with a range of tasks and deadlines. Previous experience of working with students, academics, employers and/or working in Higher Education would be desirable.
