The University of Bedfordshire Business School is seeking to appoint three new Lecturer/Senior Lecturer posts in Accounting and Finance, to provide an innovative and exciting learning experience for our growing number of students in this increasingly popular field of study. You will lead, develop and contribute towards teaching delivery and curriculum enhancement across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within our accounting, finance and associated portfolios.
Department of Law and Finance
Within the Business School, the Department of Law and Finance reflects the School's established strengths in law, accounting and finance, economics and human resource management. New developments in accounting, finance, investment and risk management and the delivery of Higher and Degree apprenticeships have presented an opportunity to reposition the Department to meet the needs of graduates and employers both locally and regionally, as well as overseas where we deliver a number of courses with partner institutions. Our research is world leading in fields such as sustainable accounting and finance, business start-up, entrepreneurship and investment banking. We continue to improve our league table position against our benchmark competitors and are proud of our visible impact on local and regional communities, of our advanced and innovative accounting and finance portfolio and of our staff who are committed to delivering research informed teaching aimed at producing job ready graduates.
We are seeking an inspirational academic to take our accounting and finance portfolio to the next level. You will develop and teach on a range of specialist and collaborative accounting, finance, business and management courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level across our distributed campuses in Luton, Bedford, Milton Keynes and Central London and will work with colleagues both within and outside the Business School on our growing portfolio of teaching, enterprise and research activities. Applications are especially welcome form individuals with expertise in financial management, banking, taxation, fraud and risk management.
With a PhD or equivalent experience in an appropriate subject area. Working with a team within the Department, your specialist knowledge and expertise will drive curriculum change and enhance our engagement with the accounting and finance profession and with businesses at local, regional and international level.
