Providing operational support to an HR Manager, this is an opportunity for an experienced HR Adviser with good administrative and organisational skills and recent experience of working in a Human Resources office to join our busy HR Department.
Providing a customer focussed contact point, you will carry out a range of generalist HR activities with opportunities for specialist project work. Key responsibilities include UKVI sponsorship, recruitment activity, administering the fixed term contract termination process, supporting sickness absence and flexible working procedures, and taking an active role in E&D activities as part of University’s participation in the national Athena SWAN framework.
Educated to A level standard, with GCSE equivalent qualifications in English and Maths, applicants must have a demonstrable track record of working with a broad range of HR procedures, contract documentation, and good applied knowledge of up-to-date employment legislation. CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
This post provides an opportunity to broaden your skills and experience within the higher education sector across a range of HR areas; and is available from January 2018 for a period of up to a year.
