The Communication, Recruitment and External Affairs (CREA) Department at the University of Westminster performs a vital function, driving core business, raising the University’s profile and communicating to a complicated mix of audiences. We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, organised and effective professional to provide essential administrative support to enable the CREA directors and team to meet their strategic and operational objectives. 

In this proactive role you will be expected to offer a wide range of support including arranging travel and making hotel bookings, setting up meetings, processing catering orders, as well as office administrative tasks such as raising purchase orders, stationery orders, minute taking and organisation of the office.

You will also support the senior management team with diary management and undertake ad hoc projects within the department,

Alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills, you should have proven organisational skills, and be comfortable working both individually and as part of a busy team. You will need to enjoy the challenge of meeting deadlines, and of building working relationships with other professional services departments, as well as with academic colleagues.
