Based at 1 Guildhall Square in the centre of Southampton, the Ask HR team deliver a centralised HR advisory service to all staff and managers at the University, across the full range of HR disciplines, policies and processes.
As Ask HR Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for all University staff with queries by phone, email and via the ticket system. Using the core HR systems employed at the University, you will triage and assign the incoming queries, and use your broad generalist HR professional knowledge to advise on first level questions as appropriate.
You will be able to effectively prioritise your work to ensure that the service provision meets customer expectations and service level agreements.
You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced HR Operations team, dedicated to providing excellent customer service, resolving issues and delivering high quality advice and guidance. You will be used to working under pressure and be capable of prioritising your own workload and managing competing tasks to meet the demands of a busy, fluctuating environment.
