We are seeking a senior lecturer to join the academic team in the Department of Marketing in the Business School. This is a permanent role that has been created as a result of programme portfolio expansion. The Department will consider applications from candidates who wish to work either on a full-time (i.e. 1 FTE) or a part-time (i.e. fractional) contract.
You will be committed to:
- delivering an outstanding student learning experience,
- contributing to research in areas that lie within the Schools research clusters and
- pro-active engagement with external stakeholders, e.g. employers, consultancy clients.
You will be:
- participating in research leading to publication and/or engaging in scholarly activity,
- teaching UG and/ or PG students in marketing and related specialist areas as appropriate,
- supervising and assessing students projects and dissertations,
- initiating and sustaining mutually beneficial partnerships with external stakeholders within related industries,
- undertaking curriculum development work including planning, development, evaluation and updating of courses and course materials,
- supporting the pastoral needs of students,
- contributing to extra-curricular and student recruitment activities.
