As a result, our Manukau City based company has a vacancy for a competent, well presented, motivated individual!
At Wiri Timber we specialise in the manufacture of residential wall frames and roof trusses as well as operating a timber yard, which is open to the trade and public.
The ideal candidate for this role would tick all the following boxes:
Not be scared of manual labour. Happy to pick, lift and stack timber products, plywood, plaster board etc. for customer collections and deliveries to site.
LOVES working outdoors, rain or shine.
Is happy to assist builders and DIY'ers customers so does not shy away from customer service and has a friendly, honest and warm attitude.
Is a TRUE team player, working alongside other yard staff at times but also happy to work on their own.
Moves with a purpose. If you drag your feet, this job is not for you.
Is RELIABLE. Turns up for there team mates.
Is well presented.
Has a health & safety focus.
Common sense would be AWESOME.
Has good mathematical ability as you need to calculate how many metres or pieces are required for orders.
Have a good grasp of the English language both verbal and written.
Hours are:
Mon-Fri 7am or 7.30am- 4.30pm or 5pm
Sat: 7.30am-12 noon (Rostered)
