Edgesmith Ltd is a New Zealand owned and operated company. We specialise in the import and manufacture of fencing, gate hardware, gate automation and associated accessories for both the local and international markets.
Based in Silverdale, we are currently seeking an experienced gate automation technician to join our rapidly expanding automation department. Supporting the automation BDM, the successful applicant’s main roll will be to provide technical support and product advice to existing and potential customers. In- house duties will include minor assembly work, stock / quality control processes, assisting warehouse staff in product selection for orders and maintaining the automation test area and workshop. Some travel will also be required.
Ideally you will have:
- Electrical registration
- A proven track record in the automation industry
- A full drivers licence
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computers (beneficial)
Package will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on experience, skills and qualification.
