Our Foods Division is enjoying unprecedented growth and we are looking for an Experienced Laboratory Technician to rapidly develop into a key technical member of the team and demonstrate leadership potential.
Analytica is one of New Zealand's most dynamic commercial analytical testing laboratories. Based in Hamilton at the Ruakura Research Centre campus, we service a range of clients across diverse market sectors like honey, dairy, environmental, and research. The ideal applicant will possess a tertiary science qualification and have worked for a minimum of three years in a Commercial Laboratory environment. They will have an affinity for working with instrumentation (LC/MS, IRMS or GC/MS) and have experience with the day to day operation of instruments as well as maintenance and troubleshooting. This role will rely heavily on your strong technical ability, your excellent attention to detail and your structured approach to problem solving. Above all we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn new technologies and someone who shares the values of Analytica such as Communication and Teamwork, Quality, Trust and Engagement.
You should demonstrate to us that you are:
o Adaptable and open to change
o Able to think on your feet and make well balanced and quick decisions
o Capable of learning many methods and working unsupervised
