Company Accountant
Day to day financial management
Monthly reporting and balance sheet reconciliations (Xero)
Trust accounting
Sales commission calculations & payments to agents
Financial processing for rental management business
Payroll processing, employment contracts etc
Preparation of GST returns
Ensure all marketing costs are invoiced to agents/vendors
Accounts payable/receivable processing, reconciliation & payment/receipting
Continued improvement of office systems & processes
Provide accurate & timely information as & when required for decision making
Budgeting, forecasting & monitoring financial performance
Cashflow management
Actively look for efficiencies and cost savings
Liaise with external accountants to ensure compliance
The Company Accountant will report to and support the Managing Director, but with a high level of involvement in the accounts processes through to the delivery of the month end accounting.
We view this position as ideally suiting a qualified Accountant, who gained a base level of accounting experience in either the chartered accounting and or the commercial sector, to now further develop their career in a very broadly based company accounting role. Strong interpersonal skills, a high level of computer literacy including good spreadsheet skills, a positive approach and a willingness to learn and develop the role further are also important prerequisites.
