Part Time Role

 

Alexander Group Holdings Limited and its subsidiary companies are a privately owned, constantly growing specialist road transport business with substantial operations throughout New Zealand in the distribution of bulk dangerous goods.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller the purpose of this part time role is to ensure that all transaction data relating to cash and suppliers is processed in an accurate and timely manner so that the companies’ financial resources and obligations can be reviewed at any time and that file data relating to stakeholders, suppliers and staff is accurately maintained. Information, as required, is provided to management to ensure informed decisions can be made.

This position would suit experienced applicants, perhaps returning to the work force or wanting to reduce their hours and who possess a strong understanding of financial processes with a lot more to add to a business. The hours may increase for this role in future though this would be dependent on business growth.

We are looking for applicants who are confident with chasing up financial information from both management and staff across our multiple sites throughout the country, who have a strong work ethic, can work unsupervised and can just get on with the job. 

What is important to us is having a strong financial administration background, excellent accuracy, attention to detail and problem solving skills, plus strong communication skills both verbal and written. Also important is having a positive approach and a good knowledge of windows/office environments.

Attributes of high integrity, confidentiality and honesty are also musts for this role.
