About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Commis Chef to join our talented and fun-loving crew! This role is all about fine-tuning your skills in food preparation and having a willing attitude to learn. The magic lies in the learning because with IHG you'll have many opportunities to develop and progress your career. The role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and/or holidays. You must have a visa to be considered.
Duties
· Prepare and cook orders in accordance with quality standards
· Control food usage to minimise waste
· Maintain cleanliness standards
· Follow all established safety protocols and procedures
· May assist in other kitchen duties as needed
Skills & experience
· Certificate or equivalent in culinary training
· At least 1 years' experience in a kitchen environment
· Willingness to learn
