We are looking for full time team player for Japanese Speaking Tour Coordinator/Travel Consultant role. 

Position involves coordinating with sales offices and suppliers in Japan to make plans for future tours to NZ/Japan.  Researching, translating, providing information on NZ/Japan tourism.  Answering enquiries relating to planning these tours.  Bookings of accommodations, services, attractions etc and coordinate these into tours in liaison with local suppliers.  Producing quotes and negotiating prices/rates.  Liaison with all stakeholders involved in the tours to ensure smooth tour operation.  Planning, promoting, marketing and sales of products is also part of the job.

Japanese language skills (oral/written) ESSENTIAL.  Excellent English is a must (written/oral).

The key to your success in the role will be:

·        Must have a native level Japanese language skills (oral/written) with excellent English (written/oral)

·        Previous experience working as a travel consultant (retail or corporate) or a related industry for at least one year.

·         Sound knowledge of NZ/Japan as a tourist destination preferred.

·         Excellent sales communication skills, people skills and business development skills required.

·         You must be a motivated, enthusiastic learner and a team player.
