About the role
The World bar is on the hunt for a level headed and energetic Restaurant Manager. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and honest food. Whether customers are in for a date night dinner or a private christmas function, our flexibile and friendly style needs to wow every time. This is not your standard restaurant manager role. We are looking for someone to join the team who thinks they can help progress this ethos as well as an understanding to our approach. You will need to be prepared to adapt to our unique nature and get stuck in to develop the business and keep the many walks of life that cross our paths wanting more.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a large team.
- Presenting ideas to develop the business.
- Maintaining a certain standard of service.
- Providing excellent customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain a professional and co-operative relationship with kitchen and liquor dispensing staff to ensure the overall business operates smoothly
- Look for opportunities to improve procedures, and make improvements where appropriate
- Ensure staff are aware of specials, new wine lists and menu items and out of stock food and wine
- Maintain a high level of morale and team cooperation
- Follow up on customer complaints/comments quickly

Skills and experience
- Minimum 3 years experience working in a busy restaurant.
- Minimum 1 years previous managing experience.
- Creativity to develop and have ideas.
- Good team leadership skills.

- A positive and professional attitude.
- Current LCQ - general managers certificate
