Burger Wisconsin Tauriko is looking for a switched on Shift Supervisor to work in conjunction with the owners to bring their store to the next level.

Burger Wisconsin Tauriko opened in May 2017 and the franchise has been around since 1989.  We specialise in big, gourmet burgers.

We pride ourselves on our customer service and have a loyal following of regular customers – maintaining this customer service is an integral part of the job.

We are in need of an Shift Manager to work Wednesday through to Sunday (45 – 48 hours per week, afternoon/night shift).  This is a very hands on role (not a sit back and let others do all the work). 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with maintaining roster and hiring new staff (roster runs on permanent shifts)
  • Weekly stocktaking plus end of month stocktake
  • Ordering of stock
  • Sole Charge of shifts
  • Maintaining weekly sales KPI’s
  • Weekly meeting with owners
  • Directing your team of staff to ensure all customers are served in a timely manner, including getting their food out fast, minimising wait times and maintaining good customer service.
  • Ensuring the store is clean and tidy at all times
  • Updating and following our Food Control Plan
  • Learning all aspects of the store – Front of House, Sides, Building, Packing and Grilling
  • Maintaining good relationships with both management and staff
  • Following SOP’s from head office
  • Nightly Cash Up

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A passion for hospitality and customer service
  • Be physically fit (this is fast paced and takes a lot of stamina with long hours)
  • Someone not afraid to get their hands dirty and get stuck in
  • The ability to work independently and confidently make decisions
  • Committed and reliable
  • Food Safety / Handling Certificate
  • 1 – 2 years previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent Time Management and Organisation skills
  • Ability to keep your team motivated
  • High standard of personal presentation

Starting Salary is $43K gross which will be reviewed upon completion of a successful 90 day trial period.

Hours which are non-negotiable are:

Wednesday 12.00pm through to 8.30pm

Thursday 12.00pm through to 9.30pm

Friday 12.00pm through to 9.30pm

Saturday 10.30am through to 9.30pm

Sunday 10.30am through to 8.30pm

References are essential, and a background credit check/drug test may be performed.
