Birdies is a relaxed bar and deli located in the prime position of the new Grove dining precinct in the Sylvia park mall. With a menu that is centred on simple and fresh rotisserie meats and healthy, flavourful deli foods, Birdies aims to please those after anything from a shared dining experience after shopping to a long ladies lunch. Inviting and relaxed with a sense of city chic, this venue will be the hottest destination south of the city!
The role
This is an amazing opportunity to step into a role with a focus on the team and venue development. You will be assisting in the everyday management of this exciting new venue "Birdies". Be responsible for ensuring smooth and consistent service with flair across the operation and be able to demonstrate a strong desire to succeed in hospitality and carve a name for yourself as a savvy operator. As well as the above, a working knowledge and recent experience in the following areas will be highlighted in your application;
- High volume venue exposure with the ability to deliver quality experiences and products consistently
- Financial acumen including P&L, roster and stock control and accountability
- A leader in every sense, hands-on and dedicated
- Forward thinking and full of ideas
- Current General Managers Certificate
