Situated within the Auckland western region this large facility provides a range of aged care services for residents. This is a chance to utilise your strong man management skills whilst influencing change to create a new legacy for this site. This position is for a skilled experienced Facility Manager to step in and focus on creating an environment that is attractive to new residents and creates a home environment for those choosing this facility,

About the role:
• Ensure excellent care is provided to support the residents
• Need to ensure that resident’s families feel supported and secure in the knowledge that the best care is being delivered to their loved one.
• Drive the day to day operational performance of the site.
• Work to proficient, results driven and sustainable long term management of the facility
• Manage the staff including recruitment and HR processes
• Maintain profitability and financial performance
• Ensure Quality and Health and Disability standards are adhered to
• Provide regular performance reports

You will have:
• Commercial and business acumen to manage a facility
• Have the ability to drive change, to create a framework of best practice
• Previous Aged Care management experience is required, whilst you do not need to be a health professional (past or present)
• Solid leadership and people management skills with the ability to maintain a team environment
• A good understanding aged care services
• Excellent communication skills at all levels including with key stakeholders
• Effective problem solving techniques to influence or negotiate desired outcomes
