Healthvision are an award winning provider of Specialist Rehabilitation, Nursing and Homecare services throughout New Zealand and we are expanding our team of highly skilled community Registered Nurses.

We are looking for a full time nurse to provide wound care and other clinical services to people in the community, however we may consider a part-time role for the right candidate. Working in a dynamic environment, the role involves visiting patients in their homes to apply your practical nursing knowledge and assessment skills, case management and patient education. You will be part of a wider and highly experienced nursing team.  This role also involves developing positive working relationships with referrers.  

About you:

You will be highly experienced and clinically confident with a great attitude and have excellent wound care and ideally burns experience, or come from a community or district nursing background.

The available position is highly autonomous with the flexibility to work around your lifestyle. You are empowered to provide continuity of care for your patients from beginning to end, while we provide great orientation, excellent clinical support and access to ongoing education.

Healthvision's nursing services are primarily ACC-related, including wound care, burn care and long-term injury. We are an extension of the primary healthcare team and are consistently recognised as wound care experts. We currently have a vacancy in the Lower North Shore, area, but opportunities are also available in other parts of Auckland and across New Zealand.

Applicants will:

• Hold a Registered Nurse qualification with a current New Zealand practising certificate
• Be eligible to work in New Zealand
• Have a caring nature and the ability to connect with people from varying backgrounds
• Have a good working knowledge of MS Office Software (e.g. Word and Excel)
• Demonstrate a commitment to providing the best service delivery to our clients
• Hold a current drivers licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
