An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist to work at Te Harakeke Child, Adolescent and Family Service.
You'll need to have proven experience in the field of mental health and a passion for working with children and youth. Skills in a therapeutic modality are a must as is the ability to complete psychological testing. The successful candidate must also have excellent communication and liaison skills as it is important to be able to work well with other professionals both within the DHB and in the community. The ability to run groups is an advantage.
Hawke's Bay Hospital is a 400 bed accredited facility providing acute and elective care for the Hawke's Bay region (a population of 160,000 people). The full spectrum of services is provided onsite except for Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic and Plastics. The Regional hospital in Hastings also has links to the DHB's rural services in Wairoa, and Waipukurau.
Hawke's Bay is on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand is famous for a warm and sunny climate, fine wine and Art Deco architecture.
