About the Role
As an Assistant Theatre Nursing Manager you will assist in leading the day to day operational business aspects of theatre by supporting the HR functioning, providing business strategies and maintaining compliance and quality. You will have a strong customer focus and enhance internal and external stakeholders’ experiences. This is a full time Monday to Friday role with flexibility to meet service needs.
Duties
• Collaborate with senior management to promote and maximise theatre efficiency
• Provide strategic specialist clinical advice in theatre coordination
• Facilitate quality and safety, patient flow, financial/budget management and change management
• Liaise with other medical staff and broader multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes
• Employ succession model planning and provide appraisals to staff
• Assist Resource and Educator Registered Nurses in Health and Safety compliance
• Promote business development
• Maintain excellence of Customer service by resource planning
Skills & Experience
• 5 years recent post-graduate experience in Operating Rooms with a current APC
• Proven operational and leadership within a private surgical setting
• Evidence of post grad qualification in health or business studies
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse nursing team
• Committed to customer focused service delivery
• Background HR understanding with business acumen
• Experience of managing budgets with analytical skills
