The Society helps all those it can who are in genuine need,and the type of help it gives is not limited to any one thing - any type of practical assistance can be looked at.The Society's work is largely funded by donations and bequests,by grants and by income from the Society operated charity shops that sell donated clothing and other goods.
The National Board leads and directs the Society on behalf of the National council.
About the role
Your key tasks would be :
To gather and interpret information to comply with Audit requirements.
Support the implementation and maintenance of centralised accounting and financial process and controls.
Assist with completion of Audit questionaires & gathering of bank confirmations.
Check employment Contracts.HR & H&S documentation.
Assist with payroll reconciliations.
Assist with Consolidation Spreadsheet.
Work closely with National Finance and Administration Manager,National Executive Officer and Audit and Finance Committee.
Timeframe : July to November
30 Hours per week plus occasional day travel if required.
