Executive Search International is on the look for a multi unit experienced Area Financial Controller to oversee 4 + International high end 4.5 star hotels.

The position : Reporting to the Regional General Manager with function reporting line to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at corporate office OS .
The New Zealand Director of Finance leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive annual business and financial plan which is aligned with the company’s strategic direction to improve financial growth and achieve the established business and financial goals of all properties in New Zealand.
PART OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES include

Create the annual operating budget for the asset company and operating company. Provide analytical support during budget reviews to identify revenue enhancement, cost saving and productivity opportunities for property managers.

Prepare the relevant monthly hotel financial reports timely and communicate effectively with the owners/CFO. Proactively anticipate and address needs and involve the stakeholders in key decisions.

Undertake the role as the strategic financial business leader to all property managers and use his/her financial expertise to work closely with them to drive effective sales & revenue management strategies to achieve established financial goals

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
You MUST have a Degree in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior managerial appointment in the hospitality industry This is essential.
