The Role

Our much loved Global Payroll/Finance Support person is heading off on her maternity leave, we are looking for a true accounting star to fill her shoes for the next 9 months.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating payroll across our global business, keeping up to date with global payroll legislation and taxation matters. Supporting our finance team in day-to-day reconciliations, processing of payments, month end reporting and other finance administration support. You will need the ability to keep information confidential, and have a high level of accuracy, but also willing to get stuck in and help the team out as required.


Requirements


  • Payroll experience and a strong understanding of NZ payroll, if you have any knowledge of accounting and payroll process and requirements outside of NZ this would be an advantage.
  • Experience in a finance and accounting role and an understanding of taxation.
  • Financial reporting experience.
  • Analysis skills.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • A great customer focused work ethic.
  • Great organisation and time management skills.

Flintfox uses Xero as its accounting package and for our payroll. Knowledge of Xero is an advantage but full training and a proper handover of all systems and processes will be given.
