We have a fixed term opportunity for a Senior Policy Advisor. Applications will also be considered from experienced Policy Analysts. This role is for 6 months to cover parental leave in a busy team of smart, committed people.
You will support a busy work programme in the area of National Security and International Policy. Areas of policy include cyber security, counter terrorism, terrorism financing, anti-money laundering, organised crime, etc. In this role you will have a lot of opportunities to work with other agencies.
Key skills:
- Excellent critical thinking skills and judgement
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills which are able to be tailored as circumstances require
- An eye for detail but is comfortable dealing with a diverse range of subjects
- A natural ability to build and manage relationships
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
