Response Procurement Specialist
Are you an experienced procurement professional who wants to be involved in a significant procurement project which is critical to ‘Growing and Protecting New Zealand'?
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join the Ministry for Primary Industries' Procurement and Commercial Management function on a 24 month fixed term basis as part of the Mycoplasma Bovis biosecurity response.
As a key member of the response team, you will contribute to requirements gathering and options analysis whilst managing the end-to-end procurement process to realise great commercial outcomes for the business. You will provide specialist commercial advice and assistance throughout the response to establish arrangements that are successful over the short, medium and long term.
This a fantastic career opportunity for someone who has a customer focused approach, excellent relationship management skills with the ability to quickly build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organisation, able to manage complexity and ambiguity, have a proven track record in market engagement, contract negotiations, and sharp analytical skills.
