About the role
You are likely to see this as an excellent professional alternative to your current role within a Big 4 or a larger mid-tier firm in the city.
Working closely alongside supportive directors, your key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of periodic accounts
- Tax compliance
- Monthly reporting
- Managing a portfolio of key clients
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Assisting partners with special projects
- Various ad hoc operational and strategic client engagements
You will be working directly with a broad range of sizable clients with multi-million-dollar annual turnover.
The role offers a degree of technical complexity that cannot be found in smaller firms, yet at the same time the culture and work environment will appeal to candidates looking for that 'close-knit team' boutique firm feel.
About you
You are a CA qualified Manager with at least 6+ years current BAS experience in a client facing role. You are a proven people manager and have well developed compliance accounting and tax skills.
You are keen to expand your technical scope and gain exposure to new areas.
You are likely to be working in a sizeable firm and would benefit from a change of scenery and better promotional prospects.
The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and client facing skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
Our client is looking for a confident communicator with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
