Based in a high performing Buildings unit, this is an exciting opportunity for a well networked, technically focussed structural leader to make their mark with an established leading global consultancy in Auckland.
As a Technical Director, you will primarily focus on project delivery for a broad range of industrial, commercial, transport infrastructure and government sectors projects locally and internationally. Additionally you will be responsible for technical oversight and mentoring of the wider structures team. You will represent the business across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and promote the company’s profile in the industry through your commitment to the highest technical and professional standards and persistent adherence to industry best practice. You will be involved with key stakeholder engagement processes and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business.

To be considered you will have:
- A technical focus and able to provide project leadership on a broad range of Buildings and Civil Structures projects.
- CPEng (Engineering NZ) registration and be passionate about mentoring and supporting the development of Junior Engineers.
- Developed communication skills and be adept at fostering client relationships and conveying complex technical information into layman’s terms.
- 15 + years engineering design consultancy experience with an emphasis on seismically active zones.
- Established NZ based client networks and industry experience.
