We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our rapidly growing business in New Zealand.
As the Engineering Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Provide mentoring and guidance on design management;
- Design, implement, audit and train personnel in all policy and procedural design management documents for pre-contract, project award and post-contract review;
- Work with business development to ensure diversification strategies and conversion of target tenders is achieved;
- Identify critical client expectations and ensure rapid resolution of areas of difficulty to ensure pre and post contract negotiation close-out;
- Review of project risks and methods in engineering design;
- Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Decmil's vision and values;
- Build and maintain collaborative business relationships with key stakeholders.
Whilst technical experience is of importance to us, to be considered for our talent pool and future positions, you will have:
- Bachelor of Engineering, Architecture or equivalent.
- Work experience with multi-disciplined engineering design.
- Extensive engineering design experience (5-10 years) across a broad spectrum of civil and building disciplines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of estimating, contract management, program financial management, supply chain management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting and budget preparation.
