This is an integrative and collaborative consultancy that have 3 offices across New Zealand and cover a wide range of disciplines. The current Principal Civil Engineer in this company is looking to take a step into retirement within the next year so this company are now on the lookout for an experienced Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to lead the team and projects in the New Year.
This is a diverse position and it will see you managing both staff and projects across the civil engineer department. The bulk of work is across the land development sector, and can be a mixture of both commercial and residential builds on green and brown field sites. You will be a key member of staff and the management team and as such you will need to be confident with making decisions and guiding the strategic direction of the Auckland Civil team.
To be successful in this role you must have the following skills and experience:
- Be an NZ Chartered Professional Engineer
- Extensive experience working within the New Zealand or Australian civil market
- Experience handling all aspects of projects from tendering, concept and design through to construction completion
- Al leader who enjoys managing and mentoring staff and can easily fit into the team’s relaxed and easy-going nature
